Recently, a video has been published showing the ignition of a very old two-stroke diesel engine, made by the Swiss company Sulzer in the early 20th century.
Despite its old age, the engine features a great, very strong and effective design. Today it can be ignited just like the first time, but unfortunately it is a great environment-pollutant.
The big engine weighs about 15 tonnes, and features 100 horsepower. Unfortunately, there isn't much information available about the engine, since the restoration and tests are still in process.
