Solar cell manufacturers are looking to integrate backwards and take control of their supply chains. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has instructed the Economy Ministry to buy generators to provide aid to Ukraine "in the shortest possible time," Georgia's government executive head Revaz Javelidze said on Friday.

Spanish oil company Repsol said on Friday it would buy renewable energy company Asterion Energies for 560 million euros ($596 million).
