MSC Cruises Takes Delivery of MSC Seaside

MSC Cruises has taken delivery of MSC Seaside from Fincantieri. The ship is 323 meters long, 41 meters wide and will be able to carry 5,179 passengers. Fincantieri will also construct MSC Seaview, which is slated for delivery in June 2018.

MSC Seaside is the largest ship so far built in Italy.

d’Amico Sells MR Tanker

Company d’Amico Tankers has signed memorandum of agreement for the sale of 2005-built MR tanker. The 48,700 dwt tanker was built by Japan’s Imabari Shipbuilding. The vessel would be sold for a price of USD 14.1 million.

Company Navios Maritime Containers has taken delivery of the first of four 2008-built Panamax ships. Panamax APL Denver is a part of the agreement in which Navios agreed to acquire four containerships for a price of USD 96.8 million. As informed, the vessels are expected to be delivered by mid-December.

Navios Containers will operate a fleet of 20 vessels.

Euronav Sells VLCC Artois

Euronav has disposed Artois, the oldest carrier in its fleet. Tanker was sold for USD 22 million and it is scheduled to be delivered to its new owner in December.
 
Euronav’s fleet currently comprises 55 vessels.
