GE Shipping takes delivery of Supramax carrier

The Indian company GE Shipping has taken delivery of a Supramax carrier Jag Rohan. GE Shipping signed a contract with Kambara Kisen to buy the 52,450 dwt vessel in the first part of 2017. According to VesselsValue’s data, the Jag Rohan, previously known as Tenshou Maru, was purchased for USD 9 million. GE Shipping’s current fleet stands at 45 vessels.

A video of Regal Princess sailing on the river Elbe has been published on the Internet. The video shows the newly painted Regal Princess sailing on the river Elbe in Germany on April 28. Ship Management Corp. takes delivery of Panamax container carrier

The vessel was built by the South Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries in 2011. According to VesselsValue, the container ship was purchased through an auction procedure for a price of USD 33 million. The Panamax is one of five sister ships bought in late March, which will be delivered to their new owner in 2017. Capital Ship Management is currently operating a fleet of 58 vessels.

Search for MS Liberty of the Seas crewmember called off
